Christine Kawiecki

Christine is a sales and account management professional dedicated to bridging the gap between life sciences organizations and healthcare providers to assist in the industry's evolution from Volume to Value.  Particular focus on the use of big data quantifying the cost and quality impact that pharma and med device manufacturers have on patient care through validated real world data and research.  She is currently a Sales Executive within IBM Watson Health dedicated to the Explorys Real World Dataset within Life Sciences organizations.

Prior to joining IBM, Christine spent 15 years with the Premier Health Alliance, working within both life sciences and healthcare provider organizations to leverage the power of big data to support healthcare transformation.

Christine has her MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, and her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN.  Christine is based in Chicago and when not working, she enjoys keeping pace with her three teenagers and family vacations!

 

Big Data Indy Conference Overview

 

Christine will review the growing assets within IBM Watson Health and discuss the evolution within the world of big data.  Cognitive computing will accelerate the ability to ingest, understand, and learn vast amounts of data that has yet to be used to improve health.  Her presentation will include an overview of the Watson Health Cloud data assets with particular focus on the structured data contained within the Explorys Real World database and discuss how life sciences organizations are leveraging such data and Watson Health to advance their impact on improving health.
